About Us

Our Story

Thrive in Empowerment (TIE) was founded in 2024 with a heartfelt mission to empower individuals and transform communities through education, personal development, and community engagement. Our journey began with our founder, Daisy Ackuaku, who had spent many years dedicated to philanthropic work in Africa. During her time there, she focused on improving education, healthcare, and community support systems. Inspired by the profound impact she was able to make, she felt a strong calling to bring her experience and passion back to her home country of England.

Upon returning to England, Daisy recognised the need for similar support and empowerment programs within her own community. She observed that many individuals, especially girls and women, faced significant barriers to achieving their full potential due to a lack of resources and support. This realisation led to the creation of Thrive in Empowerment, a charity dedicated to providing a comprehensive support system for individuals from all walks of life, with a particular focus on empowering girls and women.

Since its inception, TIE has been commiHed to creating safe spaces, offering educational support, and fostering community engagement to help individuals thrive. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed.
